CYCLEFLOWS BAUHAUS

Exhibition Cyclehighway

Based on the ideas and principles of the Bauhaus a pavilion and an instalation were developed as  attraction points of the Bauhaus bicycle tour. Both objects are located between the Bauhaus and the Junkers Museum of Technology and deal with the close cooperation and the resulting pioneer performance of the two.

The installation along a wall deals with the technology of steelpipebending and the connection of a biclycle handlebar and the chantilever chair. The steelpipe cube refers with its aestetics to the pavilion. The instalation is supposed to be experienced in motion.

The steelpipe pavilion also highlights the connection between Bauhaus and Junkers with changing contents. It serves as an information point, resting place and offers first insights on the Junkers grounds and exhibits.
